Agreement

These Terms of Use form an agreement between you and Aletia DuPree Homemade, LLC. By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

You must be at least 13 to create an account or submit personal information. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, use the site only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.

Recipes, food safety, and dietary information

Recipes, cooking instructions, nutrition estimates, substitutions, and related content are provided for general informational and entertainment purposes. Results vary based on ingredients, equipment, technique, climate, and other conditions.

You are responsible for safe food handling, storage, cooking temperatures, ingredient labels, allergies, dietary restrictions, and the suitability of a recipe for your needs. Nutrition information is an estimate and is not medical, dietary, or professional advice. Consult a qualified professional when individual health guidance is needed.

Accounts and saved recipes

Some features may use an outside identity provider for sign-in. You are responsible for activity associated with your account and for keeping access credentials secure. We may suspend or remove access when reasonably necessary to protect the site, users, or legal rights.

Saved recipes and other account features may change as the service develops.

Comments and community submissions

You retain ownership of original content you submit. By submitting content, you grant Aletia DuPree Homemade, LLC a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, display, format, moderate, and distribute that content in connection with the site.

You agree not to submit content that:

is unlawful, threatening, harassing, hateful, obscene, deceptive, defamatory, or invasive of privacy;
infringes copyright, trademark, publicity, or other rights;
contains personal or sensitive information about another person without permission;
contains spam, malware, hidden promotions, or misleading links; or
impersonates another person or misrepresents an affiliation.

Comments may be reviewed before publication and may be edited for formatting, declined, hidden, or removed at our discretion. We are not responsible for opinions expressed by users.

Copyright and permitted use

The site's recipes, writing, photographs, illustrations, design, branding, organization, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to Aletia DuPree Homemade, LLC and are protected by intellectual property law.

You may view, print, and save reasonable portions for personal, noncommercial use. You may link to a public page and share a short excerpt with clear credit and a link back. You may not republish complete recipes or articles, scrape or compile the site, train a commercial model on protected content, remove attribution, sell copies, or use branding without written permission.

Copyright concerns may be submitted through the private contact formusing “Copyright or permissions,” with identification of the work, the material at issue, your contact information, and a good-faith statement.

Purchases, advertising, and outside services

Cookbook purchases and other transactions may be completed by an outside store. Pricing, availability, payment, shipping, returns, and warranties are governed by that seller's terms.

The site may display advertisements from Google AdSense, Media.net, other disclosed advertising providers, sponsorships, or affiliate links. We may receive compensation when you view an ad, follow a link, or make a purchase. Material relationships will be disclosed where required. Advertising does not constitute our endorsement of every claim.

Links and embedded content from third parties are provided for convenience. We do not control their availability, security, accuracy, privacy practices, or terms.

Acceptable use

You may not:

interfere with the site, bypass security, probe vulnerabilities, or introduce harmful code;
use automated systems in a manner that burdens the service or ignores access restrictions;
collect personal information about users without permission;
use the site for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activity; or
attempt to help another person do any of these things.

Availability and disclaimers

The site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability. We do not promise that every recipe, link, comment, feature, or service will always be available or error-free.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot legally be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aletia DuPree Homemade, LLC and its owners, contributors, service providers, and representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities arising from use of the site.

Where liability cannot be excluded, aggregate liability arising from the site will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid directly to us for the relevant online service during the prior 12 months or 100 U.S. dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Aletia DuPree Homemade, LLC from claims, losses, and expenses arising from your unlawful use of the site, your submitted content, or your material breach of these Terms.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Georgia, unless applicable consumer law requires another forum.

Before filing a claim, please send a written description to the email below so both sides have a reasonable opportunity to resolve it informally.

Changes and general terms

We may update these Terms as the site or law changes. The effective date will be revised, and continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms where permitted by law.

If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement concerning use of the site unless a separate written agreement applies.
